The University of Konstanz is one of the eleven Excellence Universities in Germany. Since 2007 it has been successful in the German Excellence Initiative and its follow-up programme, the Excellence Strategy.
The Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour (CASCB) was launched in January 2019 by the Excellence Initiative. Being an interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence, the CASCB examines the complex behaviour of animal collectives as well as human group behaviour. To strengthen our science-supporting management team, we are looking for a specialist in science communication and science marketing as early as possible or upon agreement.
You are an enthusiastic and innovative personality and enjoy preparing scientific topics for internal and external communication creatively and target group-specific. With your natural communicative flair, you contribute significantly to connecting our research community with its members and partners, and you have a knack for forging and cultivating new inter- and intra-institutional relationships. You love to work in an environment centred around excellent science and have a good sense for communication and marketing activities to benefit our dynamic and interdisciplinary research community. As part of a trusted core team, you will advise the managing committees of the Cluster of Excellence and prepare concepts and decision-making bases. You appreciate an independent workstyle, collegial cooperation and the creative potential at a young and innovative research university.
Could this be you? Then we look forward to receiving your application with the usual documents by April 25th 2021 via the University of Konstanz Online Application Portal.
