The University of Konstanz is one of eleven Universities of Excellence in Germany. Since 2007 it has been successful in the German Excellence Initiative and its follow-up programme, the Excellence Strategy.
The tasks of the interim professor include 9 hours of teaching per semester in German and English at the BA and MA level, with a special focus on the area “International Administration and Conflict Management” of the MA program. We expect that the application has a research focus on the areas of inter-state conflicts and/or the politics of the Global South. Teaching experience, an excellent doctorate in political science or a related discipline, habilitation-equivalent achievements and internationally visible publications are required.
