The University of Konstanz is a dynamic and internationally successful research university with approximately 10,000 students. The University of Konstanz has been continuously funded by the German Excellence Strategy since 2006.
This project will focus on in vitro assays recapitulating human T cell exhaustion, a dysfunctional cell state found in chronic infection and solid tumors. To identify novel regulators in this cell differentiation pathway, we will perform pooled CRISPR screens and controlled knock-out experiments with the goal to identify novel therapeutic strategies. This project will combine several disciplines, including immunology, cell biology, genetics and molecular biology. For more information on the lab, please contact kathrin.schumann@uni-konstanz.de.
